AU 58... wear on eagle’s breast, several relatively minor dings, a moderate hit at eagle’s breast. Very nice coin.

I'm going to guess 61. Without seeing it in hand to determine more precisely the color of the metal on the eagles breast, it's mostly just a guess.

I'm seeing a little wear, not just a usual NO strike.

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

It looks to me like there is a bit of rub on the eagle's breast. However, this is the sort of coin that goes into 61 holders all the time.

    I guessed AU-58

58 was my vote. Hopefully you got MS on it though!

I'm going with MS60. A lot of distracting marks on the cheek and obverse fields. I think the lack of wear on the bag marks across the eagle breast and hair above the ear indicates a weak strike rather then circulation wear. Nice coin in any collection.

I see wear... but assuming it’s a weakly struck coin w/o wear I’d rather grade it MS62. An MS60 is a “roadkill” in my book and this coin is better than that.

I broke this coin out of an N58 holder to try for a mint state grade, but it wasn't meant to be.

I really do think AU-58 is the right grade for this coin. Sorry you were disappointed.

I knew I was probably throwing money away when I sent it, but I thought I had a better shot than buying 30 lottery tickets.

Don't be disappointed. My guess of 58 along with the majority in CT who voted concurs with the experts.
