almost bought this one a couple months ago but dealer wanted next grade money while I argued that if regraded it would lose a grade... Well the dealer recently sent her to be regraded with the understanding I would then buy her at list price... She's on her way to me now in her pretty new slab... Let's see what you guys think this one grades
Ok here's the "original" Grade as in Before regrading.... And after being regraded... Yup yup.. down one.. My opinion is she was and is a 64 but I'm much happier paying the 63 price for the same coin
The downgrade makes no sense to me. They used to say that if you bought a car made on Friday afternoon, when the workers were already focused on the weekend, you'd have more problems / errors - I wonder if this coin was graded on a Friday afternoon and the graders had moved on a bit from their immediate focus.
