Use the poll to guess the grade. Also do you think the coin earned a star?

List any comments you have to support your decision.

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

Tons of contact marks and dull luster.... this one tops out at 63.

And no, those muted colors won't get a Star.

Cool textile toning on the obverse, though.

Typical strike for this date, nice reverse color. Quite a few marks... 63 sounds about right.

I agree with 63, but I "guessed" they added the */+

To me it's a toss-up between 63 and 64 (based on the chatter/hits in the lower fields, the neck area, and on the cheek).

I voted 63 (just a hunch based on the holder and the marks being a bit more prevalent than I'd like to see on a 64).

As for the star, if this holder is from before 2000/2001, then the star wasn't being used yet. I'm on the fence about awarding it, but would lean towards a yes. It looks fairly vivid on the reverse, even if the colors aren't what we'd call "monster" (I've definitely seen weaker colors get a star). Also, the obverse looks to have a textile pattern (it's not super colorful, but still pretty interesting in my opinion).

Baggy. I’m at 62. And no star. Not enough luster or exciting color

@physics-fan3.14 nailed this one out of the gate. Doesn’t surprise me as he wrote a book on grading which I have read several times through.

This was the first graded coin I ever purchased. I thought it was cool that it had textile toning on the obverse and reverse which I felt was very unique.
