    I think the black spot brings down the eye appeal just a bit. I’ll go 63.

    let's see if I'm learning anything untoned area was covered by another coin??? Any way agree spot on obverse detracts MS62

    Well there isn't a neat crescent like you sometimes see, where another coin laid perfectly against it, just somewhat off center.
    But yeah, likely this coin was in a bag of jumbled dollars and the toned area was close to the bag canvas.
    I like how the toning over the eagle's head is kind of balanced, aesthetically pleasing to my eye.

    2 black spots above the forehead and a mark on the eagle's breast. The toning, at this point, seems to be a distraction rather than a attraction to me. 62 or less.

    I agree that the black spots are not helping this coin, but I really think the marks by the mouth are what limited it to a 63. MHO.
