So @physics-fan3.14 nailed this one spot on. His assessment mirrored mine almost exactly and I have the coin in hand. I knew this would be just a bit tricky as there are a few spots (on Liberty's cheek) that are very shiny and don't photograph well. In hand this is one of the cleanest looking cheeks I've come across in a Morgan that I could afford. It's an NGC MS-66 with semi PL fields. The reed mark in the field is not nearly as distracting in hand. The reverse is a 68 all day long. I've been on the hunt for a 66 Morgan to add to my collection. Each one I have looked at has either been way out of my price range due to toning or it just did not meet my expectations. This one, I knew instantly was special and that I had to bring it home. So there you go @physics-fan3.14, you did not look like a fool.
Haha, thanks man. It is refreshing to see a superb coin with fantastic photographs. It makes the grading easy!
