This is one of a pair of coins that make up the first graded coins, I have bought in close to 2 years. I figured if I was going to buy a graded coin, it may as well be a nice coin. And of course it needed to be a Morgan...... LOL. I guess I'll make this a poll as well, as that seems to be the trend now.

Besides the little ding in the eagles breast the devices are amazing.
If it wasn't for the chatter an the obverse fields I think it would go higher. Superb photos JT.

MS65 - a different date and mm and probably 66 with that smooth cheek.

    64. TPGs are brutally tough on that date.

I'm not sure it doesn't deserve a details grade.

Please clarify? Why do you think it should be a details grade? I'm genuinely curious.

I'm probably off base, but that hit on the eagles breast is pretty severe at least in the photo.

The obverse is 66, but I think the hit on the eagle's breast keeps it at MS65.

I don't think you are off base at all. I just want to know what people are thinking. I appreciate your feedback and thank you for responding. :)

MS 64 It looks like something affected (discolored) the lettering on the reverse, especially AMERICA.

I'll parrot others opinions that the obverse is 66 or better but the eagles breast keeps it to 65. I have one similar, should be a 67 but there is a hit on the eagles beast and they graded it 65.

A few too many hits for me to go above a MS-64.

    64. Would be 65 but for the hit on the breast.

I had the exact same thought. MS65 due to the hit on the reverse.
