    The strike called to me on this one. I'm not really into white coins, but have always wanted an '81-S with this look. I have 3 other slabbed Morgans (O's) here in 64 and the difference in strike comparatively is really something to behold.

    ....I thought I might put it in this to replace the toner, but when I eventually find decent raw CircCam trade and seated dollars I'm gonna swap out the whole page to match anyway so I'll probably keep it in the slab. (NGC 7 if I'm not mistaken? Not too old but not too new either.) Thanks for playing, all. I bought it feeling like it was a solid 64 with a clean portrait for the grade.

    Too bad for those field scratches. Would have made 66 without.

    Darn, missed this GTG. I was thinking 63 when I first saw this one. No way it's above 64, maybe 64+. Just too many bag marks in that left obverse field for a 65.

    Yep, 64 is the right grade for this one. It is an attractive coin, and congrats on the purchase.
