I’m in at MS63. Perhaps the TPG gave it a bump to 64 for the toning?
Nice coin no matter what the TPG put on the label.

MS-65 in my book, unless I’m missing something.

    Love it! I'm with Larry - guessing an MS64, though I hope it's higher. She's a beauty!

    64. It is a very pretty coin. Only the date prevents it from being MS 65. 1881cc are carefully graded as they are a better date CC.

MS 64 was my first impression (although I debated 65); I think PCGS was more conservative given some contact marks and the better date.

Well I bought it looking like this B6BBA735-5FD6-4BA6-A068-E5C63D958986.jpeg

I was too conservative here compared to PCGS and CAC. I don't have any issue with it being a 65.

It is fine as a 65. Nice coin.

I got that one but I didn’t say CAC.

I still think it would be fine in a 66 holder, but I'd much rather see it a 65 CAC than a 64. ;)

Agreed. A higher end 65 with a bean and eye appeal or a lower end 66 with multiple retry’s of grading. I like it as is. Especially as I bought it for greysheet bid in 2018
