GTG 1880 morgan "Binion Hoard"

    I like it! I've been watching for one of these Binion pieces for a while. I've strolled through that casino more than once so thought it only fitting I should have one in my collection. They come up fairly often, so I've been waiting for the right one to "speak to me".

    If Lady Liberty ever started talking to me from a coin, I would immediately do two things at a minimum;

    1) Purchase that coin.

    2) Order/Purchase more of what I had consumed prior to said event.

    Post-mint slot machine damage. These were used in slots and at tables before 1964. No one kept these, but cashed them off. Why it’s hard to find one from hoards like this, at those grades.

    My 1878 8 tail feather example is in a Binion slab. It's a MS-63.

    I've also got Olathe bank hoard and Stacks and Bowers W57th morgans and a few other not morgan hoard pieces :D I just love that lil extra pedigree :D
