GTG: 1859 Indian Head Cent

    1916D10C Key Date Mercs are Life! 1916-D/1921-D/1921

    I am really surprised that got a 63. Not trashing the coin or anything, but just that prominent hit on the cheek would drop it imo. On a different note, I need to re-hone my grading skills. Apparently I’m a little rusty.

    Just so you know the 1859-1864 Indian cents struck in copper nickel do not get BN RB or RD designations since they are a copper nickel composition. Good guess with the grade though, that's what I said:)

    A few of us are having the same problem.
    I started to call the coin a 64. It has that look.
