    XF-45, maybe you can squeeze an AU-50 because the obverse seems to have a little less wear that the reverse; but it's not even close to an AU-58.

    No luster but the toning makes up for it. Very natural with very nice features. it's somewhere in the AU range, in my opinion, good luck. I enjoyed the look see, thank you.

    Thanks all for your reply. I thought it was very undergraded. I paid the guy 10% back of NumisMedia Dealer price for a raw XF40.

    I think they net graded it, as I mentioned the possibility that it was improperly cleaned. My guess is the VF grade, as opposed to an EF or low AU grade is because of the cleaning that it had.
