    Based solely on the photos...the ANACS coin looks far more damaged to me. Now, photos can be decieving...in hand it may be a totally different story.

    @Morgandude11, you are not some newbie with no knowledge. You know silver quite well based on our many discussions over the years...so I will yield to you since you have the coin in hand. If you think the ANACS coin has a shot at a straight grade I say go for it.

    Yes. But dipping can be both beneficial or damaging. If a coin is over dipped it becomes damaged.

    Exactly. This coin I posted is considerably over dipped, and may have been dipped and wiped. It still looks nice, but somebody wanted a real shine on the coin. That is why I think it is MS details.
