I think they net graded it for light silver corrosion. My grade would have been VF sharpness ... Despite the fact that the grading services said at one point that they would not net grade coins, I have seen it many times. One of the worst was a Bust Dollar with AU sharpness that one of major companies graded EF-45. It was very light, but there was lettering scratched into the obverse field.
Just dark original surfaces, lots of trace luster. With this stuff I like it raw too so it’s not the end of the world if it doesn’t go my way grade-wise... I just like having stuff certified for my family’s sake so they could scan the barcode and have at least a general idea of the value if I were to leave the party early.
Lol. Good old Peabody. Right next door to Lynn the city of sin. You never go out the way you came in. Not that far away from me. About an hour and a half
Like em with butter. Hate mayo period. But didn’t skimp on the lobster. The way it should be. No relations as far as I know. As that’s my name
You rarely see them at shows....graded or raw. To find one in a nice xf would intice me to pull the trigger. I believe I only have 2 or 3 in my collection.
