Then I don't want to make you more jealous, but my seats are in the Paddock Penthouse. It simply means that I'm on the front straight in the second deck, right across from the pits. I'm in Row A, which means there's no one in front of me and I can lean on the rail and watch the race.

If you are a racing fan, you must go to one 500. The atmosphere is unlike any race I've ever attended. I've been to Long Beach, Laguna Seca, Sonoma, Mid-Ohio, Elkhart Lake and of course many of the races at Indy. I went to the first 4 Brickyard 400's and all the F1 races at Indy. My bucket list is to go to one of the iconic European F1 races. Like Spa Francorchamp.

I live in Michigan myself. My first 500 was in 1988. Mears, Foyt, Andretti, Unser, Johncock, Rutherford, etc... I was blown away by the size of the track and the massive amounts of fans.

    Sorry for hi-jacking the thread.

Oh man... You have opened up the excited kid in me. I grew up in the 60’s and 70’s living my weekends at the open wheel dirt tracks in the midwest. As an adult living in the south I have been to every major NASCAR event... But nothing can match Indy. I attended a business event fifteen years ago in Spiceland(?) Indiana and my host took me to the Indy museum. That is truly one of the highlights of my life. I am excited just talking about Indy and hope you will update with a photo or two next week.

I was deciding between AU55 and AU58 when I scrolled down and saw the answer.
