SLQ: AU 58 Buffalo: MS 65 Like Paddy, I'll second that both are very nice coins! The SLQ looks like one of those that just barely missed an MS grade, but has more eye appeal than a low-end technical UNC example. And the Buffalo has some pleasant color to it!
I like them both quite a bit. The 1926 SLQ looks like a slider MS-58/AU-63. I think it might be in an NGC MS-63 holder and you got a good deal on her. The 1938-D Buffalo has a great strike and nice color, but I don't think quite enough flashy luster to go 66, so I will call it a MS-65.

Also, has anyone paid attention to pricing in their areas as of late??? Specifically, most dealers price their coins above greysheet bid. Roughly $20 over GS bid for anything above $100. Since prices have come down so far i guess maybe they are buried in some stuff? I actually ran into a dealer who was under greysheet on everything. I purchased this 1926p quarter for $205- (GS bid is $230) I also got a 1947p walker for $45 (bid-$60) On the flip side- i asked about 2 different standing quarters in MS64 ('30P & '26D) in other dealers cases. 1 was $300 the other guy wanted $325. Neither coin had full shield rivets might i add. Any comments? Recent experience? Explanations? ??
