GTE 18?? U.S. Large Cents

@ed wood 654 has been jerking our chain for quite a while now. He's been having fun. I hope most of us realize he, himself, knows it's all bull. The more we respond the more fun he has. How about we all put him on ignore because his "contributions" are a waste of time and the continuing back and forth will never corner him/her; he will just up his game.

It looks like a counterfeit based on the reverse, possibly a contemporary one. The date looks to be 1850 to me.

Sooner or later someone is going to believe something it spews, and it wouldn't surprise me in the least if our hero was more than happy to take advantage of the "opportunity" (if you know what I mean)... For this reason alone, imo, it's worth it call BS whenever it opens it's mouth. Better safe than sorry, right?

 

Sooooo.... What's with the large cent, I assume that it took a good acid bath, but is it genuine, and what's the year?

@BooksB4Coins, you have a valid point. So, I am more than supportive of folks like you providing the corrective to ed's foolishness. You see him for what he is. You have have more experience than I do. You (and others) with a "pen mightier than the sword" have at him/her, while I will continue to ignore him. I do sincerely thank you for your service to the hobby.
