Moi? I'm not in Greenland. But I doubt they want to become a protectorate. As for new Greenlandic money, I don't think there will be any new coins as long as Denmark keeps the krone. Now paper money is a different story. Designing the notes will take a little longer though since earlier this year the Danish central bank canceled the agreement with the artist who was supposed to design the new notes. Seems she had not met some deadline/s ... Christian
We have no protectorates. Everyone here is the slave of the Metropolitan Transit Authority. When we add Greenland we will extend the second avenue subway all the way to the ice sheet! Greenlanders will then have quick and plentiful access to Midtown Manhattan Ruben
Coins that say "Grønland" are from Greenland. There are the 25 øre, 50 øre and 1 krone pieces dated 1926, and the 5 kroner coin dated 1944. Also, a "Greenlandic trade" 1 krone coin dated 1957. The new notes are likely to (also) have the country name "Kalaallit Nunaat" ... @Ruben: Too bad New York does not have those subway tokens any more. The Greelanders could probably use tons of them.
