Some tokens from the Cape York Thule trading post established by Knud Rasmussen and Peter Freuchen in 1910 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Knud_Rasmussen
I have always wanted to visit Greenland, but so far everyone I've known in the flesh has had no interest whatsoever in going. What could top a weekend in Nuuk? Maybe I'll have to get some coins as recompense. Nice coins, by the way!
Your's asked for " a reason" that was answered in a political discussion manner by the someone else, and I removed it. It was 9 words and 1 abbreviation , so I am sure you remember what you wrote. If you did not receive any notice, there was no action taken on you. Jim
Side note: I took the family to the Brookfield Zoo near Chicago on Tuesday and saw the polar bear swimming around. His name is Hudson and we have "adopted" him through a zoo program.
A footnote: The Greenland 1944 5 kroner coin was struck at the Philadelphia Mint for US servicemen stationed there and was worth US $1.00 at the time.
