He won the First Grand Prix de Rome in 1890, was twice awarded medals at the Salon des Artistes Francais in 1895 &amp; 1896, a silver medal at the Universal Exhibition of 1900, a medal of the first class at the Salon of 1905, grand prize at the Exposition of Milan in 1906 and a grand prize at the Exposition of Saragossa in 1908.
