My friendly local bank teller called me the other day and said she had 15 large dollars come in. All common Ikes (did get a 1972 type 3), but did find this one as well. At first glance I thought just well worn, but at a closer look I think it may be a grease filled die. Was curious what others thought.

Looks like a combination of both, grease filled die and wear.

    That's kinda what I figured.

Ike's eye is piercing, interesting coin Jason.
    I'd also say filled die.
    Is it a 72?

Yes to all 3: worn die, grease filled, 1972. It's not from wear because the rims aren't worn, and I don't believe a single Eisenhower dollar ever was circulated so much that it would get that worn.

My 1971 Eisenhower Dollar that's been in my pocket since it was new. Pocket wear with other pocket change.
