Can someone please give me the dealer buy and sell prices for my 1878-S Trade Dollar? Didn't want to take the time to use my camera for pics so just used my scanner so the quality is not the best but it should suffice. The toning on the obverse is a darkish blue moving down to purple and then orange from the top and a lighter blue over most of the rest of the obverse. Reverse is a lighter blue on the bottom. Thanks!!

If you offer it for sale, let me know. I love toned seated and trade dollars. Even with scans it looks like a winner.

Heritage has a section with grey sheet values. According to that info:

    CDN (sight seen): $1,050
    CCDN (sight unseen): $760
    Last Heritage sales: $999 (NGC 62) &
    $902 (for a PCGS 62+)

I would say that the toning should push your example over the $1,050 price.

A few better pics with my DinoLite. Last two taken at a slight slant.
