A friend who has a very nice collection told me he has willed his to his son, with the stipulation that none of the coins will ever be sold. What is that ?

Give them to a museum then.

My instructions are quite opposite of what you posted. The Notes are to be used to better his life in whatever way he see's fit...when he is 28 yrs old, educated and can make a very good choice with what to do with the value received.

I would be happy to know he has a nice home and family around him..and not on the streets of humanity.

I feel the same way as your friend. but i hope to be able to leave them enough money to make them not have to, im 23 so anything is possible. I just know it kinda stunk to see my dads stuff sold by my mom when she had no finnancial crunch whatsoever. but then again im the only collector in the family:rolleyes:

Exactly. I think my wife would like to see me get rid of my junk, so she won't be required to deal with it. Seems like this hobby is populated by many who feel the need to get one over on the other guy ? That's not only her take, but I am getting that feeling as well.
