as mentioned oh so long ago by myself on this thread....I have a good friend, who is also a member on here who, over the course of several years, put together a roll of circ 1916Ds. I won't go into further details, but this obviously could and did happen. I can tell you this though, the money....although a lot, is not "lottery" money. You might be able to pay off a lot of things and put some money away in savings, but not buy that house in Palm Beach and live life as a millionaire. It just wasn't that much money.

LOL! Jent went back and re read my original post....it was not three rolls...it was only one. I don't know where that 3 rolls came from....maybe wishful thinking. That price was right. Of course, this happened several years ago. They would probably be worth a tad bit more.

 

Please accept my condolences. The dimes are OK, but not much in respect of losing family.
