Grandpa's Coins

    Can anyone help me figure out the value of my grandfather's coins or direct me to an appraiser? I found 2 of these.

    I agree, this is likely a cast made for tourists. The genuine examples are fairly crude my mint standards even then. This is a genuine one (Coinfacts image). image.jpg image.jpg

    Yes it is a cast replica. Not original. See the Star above the head of the Eagle on the original picture provided? Yours does not have that star and other differences if you look carefully. Design on shoulder, branches in talons, UNUM E PLURIBUS in banner, the Eagles eye... quite a few differences from the original.
