Doug, let us agree to disagree, and not go back and forth. We know each other's stance on grading, so let it be. For you, you're right for you, and for me, I am right for me. Otherwise, this is like a tie in Football--nothing ventured, and nothing gained.
I have no problem with that Dave. What I do have a problem with is when you accuse me of doing something to you, that you have already done to me. I didn't make things personal until after you did.
I pretty much moderate everybody, even Peter. Who moderates me ? Nobody, but that's because I have never broken the rules. But, if the need ever did arise, Peter would. But just to expand on your question Jason, there have 2 incidents in 12 years, where I found it necessary to moderate a moderator.
Based on the display I've seen in this thread, from you and from other parties, you might need it. The name calling and insults back and forth from everyone seem childish and unacceptable. It might not break any rules, but it seems pretty dang unprofessional.
You sure are. Not saying you aren't. Just saying that, as the chief moderator, you should hold yourself to a higher standard.
Oh I've heard that before. But first and foremost, I am a member of this forum - just like everybody else. So that means I am entitled to same equality as everybody else. But when I have to put my moderator hat on, well you can bet on it that you won't find anybody with any standards any higher
What pretty dang unprofessional display are you talking about? Are you talking about the pretty dang unprofessional display when Morgandude11 went off half-cocked on Doug after Doug tried to answer to the pretty dang unprofessional accusation that Doug's grading standards were no better than "Kook-Aid?" Is that the one? I don't see any others.
