Grading effort on 1890 P Morgan

    Trying to grade.....I am Seeing Reverse as MS-62 and Obverse as MS-60(possibly AU-58) or just a weak strike.Obverse has die break by the date.Thanks for feedback and patience.

    Looks like a details coin to me, but cool die break under date.

    I dunno guys. These pics are not good enough to say anything conclusively. The reverse is so saturated I can't tell anything for sure and I'm not ready to call those obverse lines hairlines yet, could be planchet striations mixed with light bag marks. You could very well be right Dave I'm just saying better pics are needed fo sho

    I agree. Better pictures needed, and awesome die crack. That's darn close to a retained cud. :)

    From that second set I'm almost guessing a weak struck ms 64. I see lots of metal flow lines. It looks like it could have really good luster. Otherwise I'm at au 55 if that's wear not strike

    I am saying Au due to the apparent wear above the ear.

    I'm at MS63 but that's a wild guess. The images don't show much about the luster.
