PCI is now dominiln grading. PCI was a Tad generous with the 70s, and although not a "top tier" they are legit and still in the top 9.

I may go 64 on this one. Some light hits & lustre breaks. Looks like a scratch near the right of the tail and under the LL in dollar, but may be die cracks. May even be a VAM coin, but I'm viewing from my phone.
Your Dad has some very sweet coins. Better than most of my Morgans. Donworry about the common date issue if most are above 65. The value sometimes doubles with each number above 64-65 for certain series.

Considering he doesn't know that PCI no longer exists I would find his advice questionable.

PCI closed down in late 2008. David Lawrence Rare Coin bought the company in 2009 and reintroduced it as Dominion Grading Service. Dominion Grading Service closed down in August of 2010. The company was sold once again and the new owner briefly resurrected PCI. PCI closed down again in Sept or Oct 2010 and as far as I know has not been active since then. My understanding is the current owner is looking for a buyer.

As stated by others, none of the above are worth submitting unless they will grade at least MS65 except as noted.

Shiny doesn't mean anything! A coin could be improperly cleaned, polished or even whizzed and still be shiny. How do you know they haven't been cleaned? Do you know how to detect improper cleaning? Anything could have happened during the last 100+ years.

You might want to get a copy of the ANA Grading Standards for United States Coins, and if you would like to collect Morgans, you might want to get a copy of the Red Book of Morgan Silver Dollars by Q. David Bowers.

Man I sure wish I could tell a MS66 Coin from a photo like that. Perhaps after collecting and dealing another 45+ more years I will get to that point. My grade on that coin is that its a Morgan Dollar in a black plastic holder.

Condor is correct in the PCI response. Wanna buy a grading company?

In today's world there are 2, TWO, and only 2, grading companies that should be used - ever ! NGC and PCGS - forget all about any and all of the others.

It depends on who you're asking and what you are submitting according to the members of VAMWorld.

Do I listen to them? Not where grading services are concerned.

Plus they have the best Vam man around with John Roberts.
plus they do have 10 for $10.00 with free shipping &16 coins or more a free box.no membership fee too.

Well, it often seems that there are few who listen to me. But for those who do, I've said my say.
