For those that are not familiar with the grading companies, how much do their services actually cost? I assume the argument that with graded coins reaching the hundreds for a single collector the accumulation of unnecessary cost can be quite valid.

Walk through to grade and certified and authenticated your coin is much more expensive. But I will prepare this rather than without seeing them or supervision how they slabbed and grade your coin. Specially when your coin is very valuable ONE!

The grading cost for each coin can vary greatly. The cost depends on the grading tier you choose to submit it under, and on the value of the coin itself. If you were to use specials and such you might get the grading fees, and when I say grading fees I include the cost to ship there and back, insurance cost, etc, down to around $20 per coin, for common inexpensive coins. But some valuable coins can easily cost hundreds of dollars each to have them graded. But those are exceptional coins valued between $100k and $500k.

I'm confused what you mean by that you "only had it graded at EF europe". EF is higher than VF...so you overgraded it? Just a couple posts back you said your grades matched the auction house grades. And, the use of the word "only" would imply that you had undergraded it -- a very confusing post.
