Judging by some of the leaders here, my grades suck. Oh well, it's not like they cut off your finger.....
Merc -- 66 (hoping the nicks on the jaw and cap aren't enough to further drop an otherwise very clean coin) Morgan -- 64 Roosie -- 65 (the torch looks a bit chewed up, and there's that mark at the neck)
thats all folks, because one member got booted from the site, we have 23/23, unless i am missing somthing
Green, Just so this thread doesn't get derailed, here's a thread about the matter that has so far been allowed to continue: http://www.cointalk.com/t159516/
Yah, that's really not how I wanted my tie with Lehigh96 to be broken. Wonder if it would be kosher for someone to collect his guesses and post them here for him -- assuming, of course, that he still wants anything to do with the site...
There are other threads here about him. I don't think this thread should be one that tries to subvert the actions of the mods. Let's just move on and see these coin grades!
Soooo, since we are in the pits with our cobweb laden engines off due to lack of activity, ogling at the trophy girl wishing we were all 20 years younger, I would like to take this seemingly endless period of dormancy to mention a couple of folks. Bigjpst: Thank you for starting this contest. I am and have been having a blast. I "feel" my non existent grading skills have improved much as have my reading skills by spending so much time at the library. Your efforts are sincerely appreciated. (Trying to get him to sell me that 1886 Morgan featured in Round 5). Just kidding. Anyway, a big thank you Bigjpst! Bahabully: Your detailed "play by play" coverage at the end of each round is great! Very funny and entertaining! Keeping up with the scores and adding your commentary has got to be alot of work. Where some of the drivers got thrown into the cheerleading crowd and are breastfeeding...............truly a "Coin Talk Classic!" Thanks man! In the meantime, as we wait, I will be affording little or no attention towards the trophy girl. Instead, my mindset will be to further pursue the illusionary vision of that checkered flag waving victoriously in front of my windshield.
