Round 3 Slabs...

So everyone got pretty close with the first two..


But just about everyone was 2 off on #3...only 6 got close with 1 off and no-one got it right on.....

Since you have the Morgan in hand I would be interested in hearing your thoughts on the grade.

First, It appears Duke's General Lee in fact does have a 6th gear... didn't know that.

Group average dropped from 1.07 to 1.18 this round.. a bit tougher round.

29 players, no drops this week (close call there Eye..).

Now - the leaders.
1 ) The most honorable Horse's A.. - 2schnauzers2luv - won't be there long if you have another round like this one.... good round, and significantly lowered score.
2 ) Exacta's: Finally down to a single player.... Duke has 5 of them (that's 5 of 9 folks)So at least we all now have a target.
3 ) Scores: As above.... Duke. 5 of 6 exact in the last two rounds.. someone lay down the road spikes !!

looked again...still see wear on that buffalo leg and indian cheek...my loss as the AU58 may be more than I can recover from....ouch

 

In hand the marks on Liberty's cheek are nowhere near as distracting and the fields are relatively clear of marks and are semi-prooflike. I think MS 61 is pretty accurate.

 

I wondered if that was the case, sometimes these high res photos enable us to be harder on the coins than we should.
