    Round 2 slabs!

I have been trying to get good pictures of this Cent since I bought it, but I guess my pics don't do it justice.

I don't know if NGC got this one wrong or if the toning detracts from the appeal, but seems this one was the bane of this round

And last but not least the Morgan. It's scary how many 63 Morgans should be in 64 holders and how many 64s should be 63. This one is on the fence for me.

Thanks for participating everyone...I will post round 3 tonight.

Question about the quarter (I'm trying to learn) - how does it grade a 66 with all the nicks on the obverse? How much do marks that usually detract from the grade?

Probably shouldn't be imo... but I have noticed that ngc is lenient towards common quarters. Almost all of my quarters are in PCI and Segs holders (except for the keys, which are in pcgs)... those common one's in the pci and segs holders would easily upgrade in ncg, and probably at pcgs too... dunno why those tpgs were so tight with them,,, my guess is that it's more cost effective to build a reputation of being a tough grading company by playing the commons conservativly,, and maybe then loosening the ropes for the keys and pricier coins. In any event I'm was very please to get those pci and segs quarters at discount and with conservative grade.
If you get an opportunity Bigj, pick up a ms64 or 65 1957 quarter in an old pci or segs holder and compare it to this one.....
