Grading a possible Kennedy purchase...

Anyone willing to give a guess on grade on this Kennedy I'm considering for purchase? I'm pretty sure it's got enough to get cameo designation, not sure if it could go ultra cameo - seems a bit dark, but that could be the photos. Sadly, these are all I have right now. Worth a gamble?

I love proof Kennedy's........this one too. Maybe not cameo, but sweet nonetheless....

 

I think that's probably Deep/Ultra Cameo.

 

Do you agree the obverse is cameo? Is it just the reverse that's questionable, or am I off on the obverse also?

 

In my opinion, neither side is CAM.

Photo trickery?

 

I've got a 72 that looks very close to this and it got cameo. I will agree the reverse in the picture you posted looks a good bit weaker cameo wise, but I think my obverse looks weaker than the one you posted.

 

Impossible to tell with that background in the photograph--offhand, I would say no. I have dozens of Kennedy Cameos, and that one doesn't look particularly close.

 

I like the subject coin and would buy it.

Nice but I think there are too many high grade Kennedy's and they go for lower prices due to mintage or demand.

 

Not the '71...it is very rare to come online...at least since I've been looking.

 

262 of them on ebay.

 

Only one with the grade I'm looking for - PF 69 UC/DCAM. Lower grades do show up more frequently, but that doesn't help. I already have a PF 68 Cameo Star... my last submission attempt....

 

Though coin in PCGS holder. Easy in NGC.
