SGS now offers MS67 Morgan dollars!!

I also see that SGS is now grading Morgans at MS67. What happened?...no MS70 grades out there?? Come on SGS, you seem to find all of the MS/PR70 coins in the country!!

Remember, the eBay powerseller Aboncom owns and operates Star Grading Services (SGS). There are both located in Ohio (near each other) and SGS is NOT listed as a "real" 3rd-party-grader BECAUSE THERE IS NOTHING 3rd PARTIED ABOUT THEM! Buy, grade and sell your own coins...what a scam and eBay will never do anything about this.

So the next time you fall for "America's Coin Grading Service" or the nice gold foil tape:

Every one of them is questionable. Look for a thread that I started about NGC. Each grader does 1000 coins a day. Some people here think that it is reasonable to do so and be accurate. I do not.

<<While you are at it, be sure to take a crash course in civil litigation.>>

Yeah right, and you should take a course on civil discouse.

As a new guy I agree with Cloudsweeper's comments about grading. It just seems so arcane and non-intuitive. But then , I am a novice too.

As an attorney who has defended such claims, I can authoritatively state that unfortunately, although truth is a total defense to libel/slander claims, their defense can be very expensive. Regrettably, since the owner of SGS or one of his friends has decided to monitor this thread, it would be unfair to Peter to place him at risk.

The subject of SGS, Abonon, etc., is closed.
