It looks like the obverse may have just missed it. They are a lot harder on the '79, '80, '81 and '82 S Morgan's for the PL and DPL designation. A lot of them come with really reflective looking fields.

Redcent230, there will be a time when you tell us what it is graded, right? When you tell us it's a 64, we will all agree it's under graded.

You have to be kidding me!!! I'd buy those all day long! Did you pay 63 money for it? If so congratulations on a great eye. Those are the kinds of buys I like to make.

Well, maybe not. Even an upgrade to 65 would barely cover the grading fees.

Must have been a busy day at PCGS to let that slip by as a 63.

As soon as I stop resenting the fact that I didn't find it first, I'm going to start being happy for you. If you don't want to send it for a re-grade, maybe you should send it for a CAC sticker -- and maybe you'll get one of those unicorn gold stickers (if they still even give them out).

Heck, when I put an MS66 Morgan Dollar up and asked for folks to guess the grade, I got a whole bunch of "MS64?" . . . but no MS66s and certainly no MS67s.

This coin was graded when all the TPG's were more conservative than they are today. That being said from the photos provided I would give it a 64.

That thing is so fine it blows my mind. Can you marry a coin?

Marry a coin? I'm pretty sure it depends on which state you live in.

In this context OP means "opening post" or "original poster". :)
