    I have to disagree 100% on this. Ok maybe 50%.

    If you look at classic gold in NGC holders 90% of what is out there is consistently overgraded i.e. I think at a different wider overlapping standard than PCGS.

    I have documented every classic half eagle and many indian half eagles for the last 10 years of auction and PCGS by far is tighter and more consistent.

    When it comes to these double eagles though i believe that both PCGS and NGC on common dates are all over the place, not just PCGS. On the less common dates, I believe PCGS again is more strict than NGC.
