Grade this 1917 DDO wheat

    That 1917 is my favorite kind of wheat to collect. Early die state, toned, and showing a nice grainy surface. Beautiful coins.

    Well it's in a 63 slab. Thinking it can squeeze a 4 on a good day

    Wow, I had no idea that DDO traded at such a premium. Images are a bit small, but they certainly indicate you've at worst a bit of an undergraded coin. :)

    I looked at the very big Trueview and I think it's properly graded.

    The splotchy brownish haze around the shoulder and head would concern me. An acetone dip wouldn't hurt but I know, you just got it reholdered!

    I love the '17 DDO. What a cool coin.
