I don't think your nuts, the Morgie is not right CS, ===== -------- ====== -------- The suspicious casting marks, are they the horizontal lines a third of the way down? The problem four is obvious. I see lots of dings, bag marks on a copy? What's going on with the breast feathers? Denis
I was looking at the close-up photo of the reverse. I guess they could be die cracks but they sure look like casting marks to me. There are more of those marks also above the arrows, in the top left of the photo but they are hard to see. The best and easiest way to spot a fake is weigh the coin on a good gram scale. Most fakes are way off on the weight, the key word here being "most". Some of the better fakes the weight is RFO or very close anyways but you really only need to worry about that on the real expensive coins. The obvious wear on breast feathers and leg would bump the grade down to AU. Also the breast feathers shows very little detail compared to the amount of wear, this is another indicator that it could be funny money..
I would give it a 62 there are some bag marks on the obverse, the reverse I would grade a 64 ,but unfortunitly the lower grade always wins sorry 62 Jazzcoins Joe:whistle::whistle::whistle:
