I think these are mighty fine coins, but I'm not sure what to grade them as. I'm not sure if you can tell by the pictures but of the 1845's, one is copper red and the other is dark brown. Same as the 1853's except the copper red is in the slab and the brown is in round holder. Dave
The first 1845 looks cleaned f/vf details. The second 1845 looks like old environmental damage I would put in VF details range. The 1853 red I would say cleaned net- vf , maybe XF details depending on the reverse. I do get a good feel for the wear on the reverse. The 1853 brown I would put at VF-20/30 - assuming the reverse is the same color as the 1853-2 Large Cent-Obv picture. The reverse is what makes me want to say VF-20. Just my humble opinion based off the pictures.
Yea I agree with the above. Details on all but the 1853-2 and that one looks like a VF. The 45s are environmental damage, the 53 red is cleaned.
