I am saying that there is uneven wear on the OP's coin for an entirely different reason. Take a look at the lower half of the leaves on the right side of the reverse. They are fully struck and show no signs of wear at all that I can see. But yet other portions of the coin show significant wear. To me that proves that this coin has uneven wear. In other words it is the lack of wear at all in this area that shows the uneven wear. And frankly, I have never met anyone who knows coins that will say that uneven wear does not occur.
