Grade the Buffalo

    excellent excellent. What tips you off that those spots are showing wear rather than also suffering from a weak strike?

    The same thing I've said a thousand times - wear shows a different color.

    Oh come on now your starting to sound like Sarah Palin. :mouth:
    Buffalos are very hard to grade, but the toning is nice.

    What is happening to me!!! When I first joined this forum I liked blast white coins and that toning was ugly crap that should decrease the value. But now toning is looking increasingly appealing.......

    It looked MS to me until GD pointed out the ares with the little color breaks , now it's a AU-64 , that mythical grade .

    LOL - don't start that again. :) But I agree with you this is one nice coin. The thing that gets me is that if drift from the spots that doug circled then you get the same color as what he circled. I agree with him, but it is hard to notice - you get distracted by other details. Still love the coin stainless - get it.
