Purchased ebay lot: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...95188&_sacat=See-All-Categories&_fvi=1&_rdc=1 Bottom row, 3rd column; a reasonably detailed 1921 slq. It has a very full readable date, but it is kind of hidden in the toning, so I had to use some funny lighting angles to get it all. It looks like it may have been dipped or lightly cleaned at some point, but it still retains some luster hidden in the devices..What would you grade it at?
Looks VF 30 to me still looks like it has some luster. These are tough to find nice as most are cleaned excessively.
The images are a little tough to interpret, but I would imagine a details grade of VF20-VF25 would be appropriate.
thanks! yeah, there is also an AU cleaned 1917 in this lot, so I'm basically reselling that coin individually and the rest of them as a lot...all I really wanted was the 1921.
Wow, what a steal. I always pass over those big lots. I need to pay more attention!! Looks like a vf20 to me but that's a really nice full date for the grade.
