Grade opinions on this 1883 cc morgan?

    Thanks for the vote of confidence, but as you've seen - I'm not always right. Grading coins based on pics is tough, some say almost impossible. I wouldn't go quite that far, but it is certainly easy enough to make mistakes. Overall, I think Morgans are the easiest coin there is to grade.

    That is an impressive bird. But it looks like it is missing one feather on the botton of its body. When you see a reverse like this you can finally see what the artist intended with the eagle and how impressive it is from the 'S' feathering of the head and neck to its proud chest feathers.

    Very nice.
