Something that no one has mentioned yet is that the early S mint Morgans are known for being well struck and found in better condition than most other Morgans from different mints. Thus they are not graded by the same standards as other Morgans. An S mint from '78-'82 that grades 64 may well be graded as 65 if it is from another mint. You can't compare S mint coins to similarly graded Morgans from other mints. That's usually why many collectors think that the S mint coins are undergraded when they look at the slab.
