My initial look at the coin was MS64. I think it has lovely surfaces and lovely color...but that big hit on the front limits it from going any higher IMHO. Unfortunately, I tend to agree with everyone else that the presence of slight wear is so hard to tell with this one. It could be an AU58...I just can't tell. I personally don't believe it will get higher than MS64 with that hit but if the colors are nice enough and high enough eye appeal...it might. But, I have to make up my mind and pick a grade...no more waffling around. Unfortunately, my grade is not on the list. So...here is what I say NGC will grade it: MS64* I'm going to give it the benefit of the doubt and say it is uncirculated and thus deserves an MS grade. I think the hit on the face limits it to a 64 but the eye appeal of the toning and the otherwise overall cleanliness of the coin gives it outstanding presentation for a 64. Therefore, I will say it earns a star.
