I read somewhere the BEP printed 3.5 million of this note with 640 million printed for the entire 1928 series. I know it is not easy to grade a note that is "not in-hand" but give it your best shot. Also any information would be helpful. Thanx in advance!
Your figures are correct. The 1928E is the key note for all small-size $1 Silver Certificates. It appears to be Fine 12-15 with notations on the stains. I consider this to be a problem note.
You have so many issues working against you on this one and i doubt if it has any body to it, would go Very good 10. with lots of remarks on the back.
Straight from the horses mouth at PMG....LOL Very Good 10 A solid, whole note with lots of circulation. The note is too limp and has a number of minor problems.
I think that is accurate based on the information we have in the pic, the only question would be how limp the note is and that,s something we cant tell by the photo.
Thanx to ALL for grading this note under very difficult circumstances. It would seem that an average grade would be 12+. I normally would not ask this but this is a key date note.
