Grade Glacier NP Quarter

ehh im not too worried about it but i will deffinately say the original batch they came out with for the promo was graded pretty strict i bet they got in a hurry for the 2nd batch to get them shipped out my brothers is a 65 and the 2nd batch and mine looks way better than his and mines from the first batch

No, you should not have. You probably graded it for what it should be. George's face looks like he got into a knife fight. My grade on this quarter is 62 and only because of luster. If not for luster, 60-61.

 

Ya - I didn't really factor in too much luster. Still new at this.

 

Again, I just want to make sure that everyone knows I am thrilled to get something free and am not bummed I did not get a high grade coin. I love the coin. I just wish PCGS would have put a more appropriate grade on it. I cannot help but think on resubmision this coin would receive a lower grade. Should that occur, I would be more thrilled to have a true 62-63 coin than a coin I think received a hurry up arbitrary 64.
