LOL I was going to ask what the big deal was of having a raw 1909-S since mine is raw also, until I saw the VDB on the Rev.
I have had this one for awhile but just now realized the woody reverse. Ugly but beautiful at the same time lol
I inherited the dansco it sits in. It's complete up to early 00s plus the no d. Missing some 80s proofs though However your statement fully applies to me. I love risk reward and adrenaline highs of most forms in general
One of my favorite Woodies. It's also a tripled die obverse , CopperCoins 1928P-1DO-001 and a Tilted Die Clash ADC-1c-1928-01 on MADdieclashes. The foldover lam on the reverse is cool too . 1928 tilt a_edited-1 by stoneman227, on Flickr 1928 tilt g by stoneman227, on Flickr
Tough acts to follow. First one is from our own @stldanceartist, who somehow got the coin into my PO Box less than 48 hours after I bought it. Second one came home with me from Baltimore on Saturday. There's a spot at Noon on the obverse I need to address; @BadThad, you're gonna make a couple bucks from me next payday.
I am just getting into this thread. Pg 7 Just checking the flow lines on this Beautiful modern,I would have to say NT. Same angles, it is superb!
Not a Woody and likely damage to the coin after it was minted. Starting a new thread would allow the experts to chime in.
I am not sure, about the coin. You should start a new thread. There are many experienced and very knowledgeable members here.
No glitch fat fingers on a mobile device and I felt at heart to change PMD had they not known terminology. I remember visited here while new in the hobby and those acronyms do no good for one unknown of their meanings.
