    Lottery

US Mint coins are simply a lottery. Look at it this way: if you buy a dollar lottery ticket, you could win big, but mostly don't.
If you spend 20 or 30 bucks on a silver proof set, maybe one or two are 70. Keep them and grade them. Order enough sets to replace those. Keep the good ones from the new sets, make a set of culls, sell it on EBAY as proof only, or gift the, You will need multiple sets to make one 70 set, get over it. Sell the rest as bulk, or gift it. In fifteen years, once you have 15 pf70 sets, grin and sell at huge profits. I have been lucky this year. Last year, aw jeeperz. Barely a shred of luck. Just a lottery. This year I am sure I have first strike or early release doubled dies in both uncirculated and proof. Makes me a winner in this series early on. Funding for next year, once I establish the veracity of the DDR assertion through attribution by Doubled Dies. Crossed fingers all around, whether waiting for mint issues or replies from attributers.
