Got my new coin scale yesterday

    Vess1,
    It is not my intent to put your scales down. Only to identify marketing ploys to the uniformed buyer. What needs to be done that has not been identified in any specs I have seen from this manufacturer is what is the Accuracy, and how was it speced. % per full scale???? etc. These are factors should be concerned when weighting any thing where weight will matter. Otherwise you can go along and continue without the scales and save yourself a lot of money.

    The age old saying, Figures never lie but liars figure has some weight here:)

    No, it's ok. I know they're dirt cheap scales in comparison with the other high grade scales. But, I just gave you an example that you can weight a known weight of 1.0 grain or 5.0 grains or 20.0 grains and get those exact read outs with no fluctuation. Again, 1 grain is 0.0648 of a gram. So this tells me (at least the one I have) should be reading accurately out to the thousanth of a gram, which it advertises. Which should be adequate for weighing any coin. I'm just saying I think they're pretty good for what they are. Better than I would have expected.
