I have always used ANACS for all coins I've sent for grading. I think they give an honest grade with some good specials and you can't beat the turnaround times. Enjoy your coins and be happy. Regards.

    not very professional :(

How long did it take from the time you sent them till you received them back?

Idk but I'm gonna try and tap it around. If I cant I may give them a call about it. It's not to bad to me but it's not correct either.

Some coins don't need a $25 to $30 holder. A $10 to $15 holder is just fine to protect the coin.

Please don’t take this the wrong way, i like
to be supportive in my posts as much as
possible and respect members choices but
i really question the reasoning behind sending these in to ANACS they are pretty far down the list of TPG,S the only one below that would be ICG, better choices would have been PCGS
or NGC that way when you go to sell it will not only be easier to sell but you will get more
money, my two cents for what ever it’s worth.

Not everybody is in it to resell though. People pay more for NGC or PCGS because people believe they should pay more. Marketing works!

ANACS is a good strong company and they grade fairly well for less money than the others.

I wasn't happy with ANACS after my last submission, especially after what they did with my 1909 VDB .. it's pretty much flawless except for 2 small dents on the reverse. I'm not arguing the RB designation but, I have seen a lot worse Lincoln Cents grade a lot higher.

Eventually they will be sold be it by you
or your kids when you knock over the
bucket..LOL, all my stuff i will be passing
down to the kids and the grand kids, so
if there not interested in carrying on with
the tradition atleast i know that they will
    get top dollar $$$$

It’s all relative, you can pay a little now
and get allot less later or pay just a bit
more and get allot back in return.

No worries I value opinions and everyone has one. I do have many PCGS and NGC coins in my collection. As far as grading I buy the coin I prefer at the price I am comfortable with. In the end it's all a haggle . I'm sure when I or my family sell in the future someone will be telling them GreySheet is far to high and offer them bottom dollar. It is what it is. I try and hedge for this by investing smart as I can. None of the coins I had ANACs grade were rare and specimens are plentiful. I had hardly anything in them from a bulk buy years ago and even some freebies from friends who knew I collect. ANACs is the only company I felt would provide me with authentication and a holder plus keep the coins in the ballpark of what I might actually be offered for them by a buyer down the road if I ever do have to part with my coins.

Many fine coins will never be feasible to grade at the current fees companies are charging. To me these coins can still be authentication at a fair value with ANACs. And even I know 9 out of 10 of today's collectors will by the slabbed ANACs coin at a small premium before buying an identical coin raw.

50 years later for my generation and four other siblings/cousins, and 80 years later for the original collector, and still no one has ever sold a single coin. Top $$$ when I kick the bucket (hopefully at least a couple more decades from now...) - can you really predict? Today's ANACS slabs then could be valued higher, once collectors have realized ANACS was a stricter grader and the PCGS value thing was all marketing (does OGH ring a bell?). I'm yanking your chain a bit but you get the idea. All these $$$ mantras people live by on forums today will be a distant memory by the time my, and perhaps your, coins are sold.

i guess anything is possible but you can go to ebay right now and count the amount of PCGS
and NGC grade coins versus ANACS and even
ICG it’s not even close, regardless of grading standards as all are different people are going
to go with a name brand, just saying ..

Pontiac and Saturn were name brands 20 years ago. You get my point. If your collecting habits involve a lot of buying grading and selling then absolutely go with PCGS or NGC, for now. If your kids or grandkids will get the coins it matters a lot less whose slab they're in.

Saturn was only around for a couple of years
before people realized they were a hunk of junk…LOL, and the last great car Pontiac made
was a 65 GTO, everything sincr has been
god awful, so not sure how good of an
    analogy this is..LOL
